Since its inception in 2009, CT Realty Trust has invested in a diverse range of multifamily assets, from heavily distressed fractured condos to class A ground-up developments. Our unwavering commitment to building communities and delivering strong returns for our investors has remained constant throughout.

2009
Bard and Robert Kligerman founded CT Realty Trust with the goal of acquiring distressed multifamily assets in the wake of the GFC.

2011
Entered the Bridgeport, CT market, which would become a focal point of CRT's investment strategy over the ensueing decade.

2020
Entered the Class A rental space with the acquisition of The Grand Luxury Apartments for $33.3M.

2021
Broke ground on first build-to-rent, single family and townhome community.

2022
Stabilized The Grand Luxury Homes and purchased the land for a second BTR community, with plans to develop an institutional size portfolio of BTR assets.

2023
Broke ground on second BTR community, well on the way to 500+ units in the Hartford County market.

2024
Began construction on a third class A BTR community in The Grand portfolio. Once completed, this will bring CRT to 459 units in the Hartford County market.
