Bard Kligerman is a seasoned real estate developer with over two decades of experience. Co-founding CT Realty Trust (CRT) in 2009 with his father Robert, Bard has led the firm to invest over $220M in a variety of real estate ventures including single-family communities and multifamily apartments throughout Connecticut. Under his leadership, CRT has become a key player in the local real estate market, focusing on in-house management and development.

Bard concentrates on steering CRT's strategic direction, nurturing key partnerships, and enhancing investor relations to support the firm's ongoing expansion. His expertise and forward-thinking approach have been pivotal in CRT's success and enduring community impact.

Bard graduated with a BS in Finance & Entrepreneurship from Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Robert M. Kligerman
Co-Founder & Partner

Robert Kligerman, Partner and Co-Founder of CT Realty Trust (CRT), brings decades of experience to the firm. Robert began his distinguished real estate career in 1974 as an apartment leasing agent in Boston. By 1981, he was transforming challenging urban properties into revitalized community assets, starting with his first multifamily building. Throughout his career, Robert has held executive positions with major firms such as Cross & Brown Company, The Galbreath Company, and Cushman & Wakefield. His earlier ventures include founding Prime Realty, which managed 6,500 apartment units in New York City by 2000.

In 2009, Robert co-founded CRT with his son Bard amidst an abundance of foreclosed properties in Connecticut. Under their leadership, CRT has become one of Bridgeport’s largest multifamily owners. Robert's innovative approaches have significantly contributed to urban and suburban renewal, particularly noted during the New Harlem Renaissance.

Robert's expertise and forward-thinking vision have been pivotal in CRT's success and enduring impact on the community.
